I have a 1 ghz tbird 200fsb...and Im willing to spend around $100-$120. What's a good stable motherboard that has easy overclocking capabilities? If it had built in LAN then that would be even better.

Thanks

You could try one of the new kt266a boards coming out in the next 2 weeks. The Epox board is listed at some venders, but I'm not sure if they have it in stock yet. An official list of the new kt266a boards is available on this forum and others. Or if you don't need to overclock, try the ECS K7S5a for about $65, with onboard sound and lan. You can use either sdram or ddram with it.

what kind of price range are the kt266a's gonna run?
I've never overclocked before, and I want a board that would be easy to try with. I'm an O/C virgin...hehe

imo the asus A7V133 (w/ the KT133A chipset) and ABIT KT7A are easy overclockers

the a7v is about 110-115$, and the abit is around 100$

about the kt266 boards,
EPOX EP-8KHA VIA Apollo KT266 (VT8366) 200/266 MHz Motherboard ... it's listed for 100$ at newegg

click this to see newegg's catalog for mobo's

The new Epox Kt266a board is listed at axion technologies for $114, but I don't know if they have it in stock.
