Which mobo/ram for P4 system?!?!

I'm building a system for one of my uncle. He doesn't play games and he mostly use the computer for surfing web/office application. So a stability would be #1 for him. What sort of motherboard and ram he should be using? i'm thinking of i850 with RDRAM.. i don't really want to SDRAM and the price of DDR and RDRAM is pretty much the same now.. So what you guys think? If i850, what's a cheap/stable board? Asus? MSI ?

ASUS P4T-E, or Intel D850MV. Absolute stability for both boards.
