OK after hours and hours of research I have my dream syetem figured out. All except the RAM and Motherboard that is. I like 2 boards but really can not choose which setup. Listed below are the two. Please let me know which setup would be better in you opinion. Just so you know I will pair it w/ a 1.6A that I will be overclocking but not too much and a Ti200 Gainward video card OC'd as well. thanks

Choice #1

Asus P4B266 mobo with 512 mb of PC2100 Crucial RAM

Choice #2

Asus P4S333 mobo with 512 mb of PC2700 Corsair RAM

Which one should I get the prices are nearly identical? thanks again all 🙂

I am currently running a P4S333, 148 FSB and PC2700 DDR

Things are stable and benchmarks are insane!

I prefer the stability of the Intel chipset. It is only a few bucks more, and seems to be a very popular choice among o/c'ers, including myself. However, both are solid choices for motherboards and you really can't go wrong either way. See sig for rigs.

The Sis chipset is faster at lower speeds when using PC2700 DDR, but the i845D boards FSB overclock higher than 645 boards..possible due to the FC-PGA packaging of the i845D Northbridge. Most Sis 645 boards seem to top out around 150mhz FSB, where people are hitting the 160's to 170's with the i845D's..
