Which Mobo is the best overclocker?

I love my ABIT KT-7 MoBo and recommend it highly. If I was getting a new one, I would probably go with the new KT-7a. You will enjoy it highly because of all the good mods people have discovered for it (like the voltage mod). Also the amount of new BIOS updates is incredible. Cheers.
 
abit kt7 is probably the best socket-a mobos, in terms of overclockability and stability when overclocked. it is also one of the highest scoring ones. which says a lot. one of the first on the market and still going strong.

forgot to mention. i was able to push my 700mhz tbird to 1393mhz on mine. 😀
 
My vote is for the IWill KK266. Hits extreme fsb speeds consistantly, very affordable, and is making the review rounds and doing extremely well.

Check out some reviews and shootouts, and it's always good to check message boards and see what problems people are having, etc.

KT7a is very nice, but with all the stellar reviews of the KK266, I decided to check one out for myself. Picked up the RAID version at a computer show 10 days ago for about ~$145, and never looked back. Running great with my tbird clocked >1.5ghz, no BSODS, and it's been crunching RC5 24/7 (100% CPU utilization) since I installed it. Very nice board, and the price is awesome.
 
I have an A7V133 and have been running it for a few months. So far it is the most stable board I have ever used. More stable even than a BX board which was supposed to be the most stable platform around.

I have booted up my 1.0 ghz TBird at 1.33 ghz. Found out at that speed I was not 100% stable, but could play counter-strike. Right now I am @ 1.15ghz 100% stable stock voltage and still testing to go higher. (bumping a little at a time...I am not multiplier unlocked) Also I am using Micron CAS-2/133 memory @ 2-2-2.

BTW - I am running the latest bios revision and Via 4in1 revision.
 
I've had the MSI K7t pro 2a and the Iwill KK266, both are good boards , but the Iwill beats the older chipset hands down.
The Iwill gets a lot of good responces here and other places that cater to the OC crowd. It gets my vote, and the price is right as well.
 
I have used the A7V133, KT7a and the Iwill KK266 and the Iwill out performed the other two bigtime, on fsb OCing. they are all nice boards and stabilaty was never a problem. BTW all OCing is done in the bios on the KK266
 
I love my a7v133 it's alot more stable than my generic bx board. You can either o/c with the dipswitches or bios and it's one of the most stable boards anand ever tested. It has an onboard raid controller, comes with an adapter for extra usb ports, comes with cables and it's real fast. Ive never had any problem with it(my sblive never gave me any problem you just have to put it in the right pci slot, same for my nic). A7V133 all the way!
