Which mobo has better cooling?

Well I would first base your decision on which chipset you want, because they are different

I would say though the p35 version has better cooling overall

Since you're overclocking a quad I'd probably go with the X38 board.

It's cooling looks better to me anyways in the essential areas.

Not only that but it has a 12 phase pwm vs a 6 phase on the P35 board.

I'd still stick an 80mm or 120mm fan over the northbridge heatsink though when overclocking.

May also want to look into the DFI P35 based boards. I have my P35 LP LT running at 470mhz fsb on my quad core, unless you plan on running crossfire then get the X38 board.

you mean crossfire? SLI doesn't run on intel chipset without hacked bios and/or driver files. DFI makes some of if not the best boards out and now that the LP DK P35 is out, I have to very highly reccomend it, especially at $140.
