Only $100? Aw I was gonna say get my Gigabyte P35-DS4. Its $179.

I've hit FSB of 1600 with it.

And my SLACR Q6600 maxs out at 3.5 GHZ.

Depends on how much you want to OC I guess.

Well, Anandtech just gave a silver award to the MSI Neo-2 P35 which (allegedly) sells for apx $100 after rebate. And yes, the Ultima 90 is one of the top-ranked coolers, make sure you buy a 90mm or 120mm fan also. (You'll need lots of clearance in your case for a 120mm fan, but you'll probably have no problems with a 90mm fan).

Abit IP35-E is all I would recommend. There's not much better in that price range but you do have to sacrifice some features if you go with that board.

Hmm. Seems like its not even worth it for me at this point. Thanks for the help but ill just stick with my dell for now. If i do decide to get a mobo it would probably be the Gigabyte P35-DS4.

ABUT IP35-E, Gigabyte GA-DS3L, MSI P35 Neo2-FR and I am sure that Asus must have one as well.

Gig DS3L and Abit IP35-E seem to be great boards. They can always be found less then $100. I got the Abit IP35 for $126 at Clubit right now with free shipping. Reason I stepped up to that was it had a raid controller and the cheaper board didnt. But I would definatly put more money into a quad and a cheap board then something else and an expensive board.
