which mobo for a core duo proc?

i can get a core duo processor for nothing. the question is, can i do anything with it? are there any mobos out there that i can just pop one into? it seems like i only see them advertised in laptops.

when i do a search for socket 479 boards on newegg, i only see proc support for pentium m/dothan. would that support the duo as well?
 
I'm sure there are either boards out now, or there will be in the near future with out of the box support for Core Duos since they will be used by OEMs for Viiv-type PCs
