Which MoBo/CPU would be better/faster for gaming?

or

Asus P4P800 865PE S-ATA with LAN and Sound(MOT-ASU51)/Intel P4 3.06ghz 512k 800mhz pga478 Box(CPU-INT36)

I will be putting 512Mb of Kingston Hyper X Dual Channel Memory and ATI Radeon 9800 pro 128 in my final choice runnin Window XP Pro.

The AMD is definitly the better deal for the price...as for performance, pretty close....AMD's price for performance should be the answer...so get the AMD

Of those 2 (Barton 333Mhz 3000+ and P43.0C), the P4 will be faster. But a Barton 2500+ OCed to 400FSB and 3200+ speeds, or an A64 3000+, OTOH...
