Which Mini PCI Adapter should I

Upgrade to? I currently have a IBM T40p 2373-G5U and would like to upgrade the mini PCI adapter. Simple question which one would you go with - the IBM a/b/g or the Intel Pro/Wireless 2200bg mini PCI adapter? Any help would be appreciated. Thx I know the Intel 2200 is like $59.00 vs. the IBM a/b/g $99.00, but uncertain which would work better in my T40p.

I'm also interested in upgrading my mici-pci card (i've got a t30, but same principle!). What are some good 802.11b/g cards?

cbagz: where did you get those prices? i tried to find them, but no luck.

i think those are just how much ibm sells them for

I use the Intel/Wireless PRO 2200BG ~ A Centrino chip.. It should be fairly compatible with most intel boards.. Not sure about IBM as their computers are really selective about the hardware they use.

It's offered on the IBM site, so I'd assume it's compatible.

Be carefull what you put on a T30 & T40. Due to FCC regulations, they not all WiFi MiniPCI cards will work with them. It is a bit of a messy story but make sure the card you get is in the supported list.
