I just did a build with the Gigabyte board, and it works flawlessly.

I only got it because I could not afford the maximus VI impact though, that would be my choice if price is not a concern. If it is, then I would recommend the Gigabyte.

+1 for the Gigabyte MoBo. I've used it in three builds and it works fine but I did have a bad DVI port that failed right after Win7 installation but Newegg replaced it without a problem.

If you need all the stuff that board comes with... I'd get the Gigabyte. Do you really need the wifi and dual LAN?

I have a Gigabyte Z87N Wifi Ver 2.0, 802.11ac motherboard. When building a computer keep in mind that the USB3 front panel connector, and the Sound Front Panel connector are both on the back of the motherboard. There is also a case system fan connector and it is on the back of the motherboard as well. Same goes for the P4 CPU Power connector which is a 2x2 plug. The motherboard seems to have a good BIOS. Mine has the ac wireless and is Version 2.0. You want to try to get the version 2.0 because it has better wireless.

I think no matter what some connector will be in a place that is not convenient.

Case used: CM 130 Elite Nice black mesh grill on the front. Has a full size optical drive bay if you want to use it. Or you can mount some other drive there.

Somehow they sent me a bad hard drive. Go Figure.

Used the CX430M power supply since I don't plan on using a video card that is probably a lot more power than I need. Seems to run fairly quiet.

I was looking at all 4 options and liked them all except the Asus from what I read is over priced and all the 3 are just as good.

I did the Z87E-ITX, mainly because I wanted the MSata port that way I did not have to have any other drives in the system and I am extremely happy with it.

Wanted the ASRock at Microcenter, $30 off combo deal when buying the cpu/mb at same time, $100 for the Z87E-ITX and $200 for the 4670k.
