which mini dv tapes to use????

i own a canon zr70..and i need some new tapes...i been reading on this site different people talkin bout dry and wet tapes and what not and what they can do to the cameras...i have been using TDK tapes that came with the camera and was wondering does it matter which tapes to get and if so which ones

The only problem I've ever had with any tapes is that some JVCs seem to overheat and start producing digital noise when you are using them for extended periods. I got really screwed on a shooting gig once by them and I've never purchased JVC since.

I use panasonic tapes when I can...but I've used other brands and haven't had any problems with any of them as far as I can remember. I know nothing about dry/wet tapes.

Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ

You can get them in 5/10 packs as well.

Might be a little overkill for your camera, but they are great tapes. I use them with my Panasonic DVC80.

Here they are at TapeStockOnline.com if you want to go with ScottyB's place.

Oh, and stay away from those 83 minute tapes. Don't go over the standard 63 minute tapes.
