which method is better for finding a job

-emailing to the person that is listed in the "careers section"
-mailing a hard copy to him
-the CEO is in my area, and has his own phone and office address listed. mail a hardcopy to CEO??

CEO almost worked for me, but he was alma mater from my school ... so not generally.

hard copy to the company is hte way to go unless they say electronic versions only.
