I was wondering which memory you guys would go with for under $100. Here are the kits that are of interest to me.

Patriot eXtreme Performance 2GB - $99AR

OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB - $100AR

CORSAIR XMS2 2GB - $94AR

G.SKILL 2GB - $89 No Rebate

I don't care about the rebates and will gladly send them out, so rebate or no rebate, they are weighted all the same in my eyes.

I'd personally get the G.Skill, because MIR checks never seem to arrive from anything that's computer-related, I've noticed. Now, if you're wanting to overclock this RAM very far, get the Patriot.

Has anyone gotten their rebate from Patriot in a timely fashion? I think I'm going to go with them because they overclock the best out of the ones listed.

I always get my rebates back...never failed yet and I've done probably 50-60 over the years.

Out of your choices I'd go with the Patriot.

Personally I'd go with this Crucial or this Mushkin kit instead ... stability & quality are a lot more important then the lowest price when it comes to RAM.
