I am upgrading my generic PC-100 to some good PC133. I am planning to get the Mushkin Mosel Rev.2, but it is a little steep. How much better is that than the mosel 1.5 or the infineon? Any help would be appreciated...

P.S.
Your CPU may already be running close to max @ 1 GHz. More expensive RAM might be a disappointment in that even with it or a GFD, you can't get much higher. Maybe you could be stable at a slightly higer speed at CAS 2-2-2, though, or want that last few MHz from your comp.

I'd guess that your 'generic' PC100 RAM is really PC133 underneath the skin. I've heard of this elsewhere in the forums.

Thanks, I normally wouldn't be upgrading, but I am selling my old BX, dual CPU mobo, P3 500, and my memory to my buddy. I will have about $400 to pick up some new stuff. I mainly am looking for more memory bandwith, I get like 387/416 now (Sandra), and I know those numbers are pretty good for PC-100, but I know it is not where I would like to be. Should I go for the Mushkin 1.5 mosel, Mushkin Infineon, or Mosel Rev 2? I don't really expect to overclock much more by FSB bumping, but I do plan of trying for 1.1 with a GFD. Also, I have 256mb now, would there be a performance hit if I only had 128mb? Thanks again...
