Which memory config is better?

I replaced a PC3200 256mb CL2.5 with a Kingston HyperX PC3500 512mb CL2. My mobo AZZA KT400ALH has no overclocking capabilities. Would it be better to run the Kingston alone at CL2, or add the 256mb CL2.5 for 768 total?

CL 2.5 with 768 if u are going memory instensive stuff.
