I am thinking off getting a MB which has a AMD 750 Southbridge chipset.
I would like to take benefit off AMD AAC, and get most out of my AMD Phenom II X2 550 processor.
This Gigabyte MA790GP-UD4H
I like the Layout of the MB
It has AM3 Sideport and crossfire. (not sure it is a good thing or bad)
At the momemnt I am going to use IGP because it going to be for my kid who plays HD and Blu Ray Movies + My HTPC.
They are some chances I would get a dedicated Video Card, but only got PCIe 16x compare to newer ones and not sure How I can do Crossfire with dedicated Video card (Am I limited to video card I can choose from in future)
Please help me to guide to pick a better MB
Thanks :)

I have been looking at the same thing with theis cpu and I'm leaning to the BIOSTAR TFORCE TA790GX.

Just to let you know from what I've read is that motherboard manufactures are starting to change the bios to where the 3 and 4th core cannot be unlocked in bios and that Biostar was the only one left (at the writting of the article) but that in some cases older bios were needed or a modded bios....of course if your not referring to the unlocking of the cores..just disregard this.

If I can locate the article I read this from I'll post it here.

I heard AMD really clamping on Mobo manufactures to stop this.
I would really to unlock 2 other core to see my luck
What I read off newegg lot of people are doing not sure what haapens with NEWER bios
Once you have unlock the core do they remain unlock ?

From what I've read you can go back and change the bios back to stock them it 's not unlocked anymore
