Okay, I'm fairly interested in picking out a board that has DDR. I've seen that the EPOX EP-8K7A looks pretty good, andI've gotten recommendations from resellers to get an EPOX board. I know IWILL has the kk266-R also.

Are there any other DDR boards that anyone would recommend?

Or if you think I shouldn't get a DDR board, what socket A sdram boards are some of the most stable?

I would really appreciate your help. I originally had an ABIT KT7A-RAID, and I hated the damn thing. It's dead, and as soon as I get a new replacement, I'm getting rid of it.

Now that their early release problems seem to have been dealt with, I think MSI's K7T266 Pro is the best bet in a DDR board. A number of articles and threads such as this are now reporting good stability and good performance.

BTW, I liked the K7Master in its original incarnation with 4 DIMM slots, but the current revision now being sold only has 2 DIMM slots (like all the other AMD760 boards). Another concern with the K7Master (and all other AMD760 boards) is that the 'AMD760 chipset' actually consists of the AMD761 Northbridge and the (now problematic) VIA686B Southbridge!
