Which MB/CPU Combo

Hi,

I am in the process of building a rig primarily for Digital Photo Imaging, some games, and MS Office products. Stability is key, of course I will fool w/an OC here and there but that is secondary.

For approx the same price of $390, I can purchase one of these combo's

P4C800-E with a 3.0C proc
or
K8N-E with an AMD64 3200+ proc

1GB of PC3200 (or PC3500 ?) Ram Mushkin Lev 1 for the P4, not sure if that will work yet on the K8N-E.

If it were your $390, which route would you go based on the rigs work tasks ?

Any thoughts on good stable ram for the K8N-E ?

AMD typically does better in office applications. Intel does better in media content creation (for instance DIVX compression).
