Which MB/CPU combo would be a better choice...

Just wondering which would be better to get, for a general purpose desktop system, some gaming and some video editing. The video card is an ATI AIW X800XT.

Abit AN7 nForce2 Socket A AGP motherboard & AMD XP-mobile 2400+ cpu

or

MSI Neo2 Plantinum nForce3 Socket 939 AGP motherboard & AMD Athlon 64 3000+ cpu

Do you already have the card? I just wonder because I am pretty sure the make a PCI-e version for it. No matter what I would recommend an A64 setup over a AXP for both Performance and upgradability. The AXP has been all but dead for almost 3 years now.
