Which Matrix sequel sucked less? Reloaded or Revolutions?

Which one did you like better?

I liked Reloaded better...the story was annoying and that dance scene was way to long, but it had some badass in matrix fights and a cool car chase. Plus it had the twins who were wicked cool.

Revolutions on the other hand, blew IMO. The story was still annoying and preachy, but it was mostly just those queer robots suits shooting sentinals and a bunch of matrix mumbo jumbo. The end fight was just a computer generated dragon ball Z fight...I HATE dragon ball Z. The only good part was the 0 gravity gun fight at that french dudes house...and that wasn't even that great.

I think Reloaded was better.

You know what's sad though? When the first matrix came out, I, as everyone else, thought it was incredible. Bought it as soon as it was released on DVD, watched it a dozen more times. I actually liked Reloaded, and even Revolutions, yet I haven't bought them, don't even know if Revolutions is out yet and frankly don't care, and can't even remember them very well. And I wasn't even disappointed with them! But they were most definitely letdowns after the first one, and that is all the more apparent now.

I personally liked both of them, although I thought Reloaded was a lil more of a 'wow' factor watching it the first time, with that scene fighitng all the agents, and then the car chase I personally thought was incredible. very intense chase scene and I loved the effects.

revolutions i enjoyed a great deal as well. it was alot different, but then again I'm glad it was not more of the same. I thought the war againse the robots was badass. I have watched that scene over and over on my 5.1 setup.

all in all, i am one of the few who really enjoyed this trilogy. imo, it is alot more entertaining than the starwars crap.

They were both at least ok, I give Reloaded a solid 7.5 or 8 out of ten...revolutions maybe a 6.5...but they just didn't live up to the first one and made everything so complicated. They really needed to slash the story way down some...and those preachy reaching dialogs from Agent Smith, the marivingene and well, pretty much everyone who opened there mouth just got so tired. Neo, surprisingly...who was 'the one' was about the only character in the entire series who feel the need to be a big mouth blow hard.

Plus, as far as CGI has come...it just isn't there yet. The CGI neo in the tons of smiths fight was just that...a CGI neo. I certainly wasn't fooled. CGI can trick you in poor lighting for short shots...but it was a mistake for them to think a well lit courtyard would work for that scene.

Oh, its definately better than the current star wars (episode 1, 2 and probably 3). But those are just terrible films. It can't beat the original star wars though...maybe RotJ could be beaten by the original marix.

Loved Reloaded. There's so much in there that really worked for me and that I find inspiring. As much as I like the original, I enjoy Reloaded more.

Didn't care for Revolutions; it had potential, but I think they tried to rush through too much and didn't develop or present it well enough. I think it would have worked better if it had been broken up into two or even three films and the different plotlines and characters developed and explored much more thoroughly. Like PingSpike, the only thing I really enjoyed in it was the gun fight.

I think Reloaded was better than Revolutions, but I did comment to my wife the other day about how I kind of wished they had stopped after making the first movie. They'd have gone out on top.

The whole series took a nose dive when Neo became supernatural and could manipulate reality outside the matrix.

That would be at the end of Reloaded.

Reloaded was far better than Revolutions. In fact, Rev almost ruins the trilogy. It's all in the ending. The movie isn't that bad until you find out the ending is inrecibly weak.

Both were awful.

Truly awful. After watching Reloaded and that nightclub/cave party scene, I felt like the human race was worthless and not worth saving. Neo should've figured that out when he porked a Ricki-Lake lookalike who could've been as old as his mom :frown:

WTF? I agree that the movies sucked, but CAM is not exactly "old, fat, and ugly." Come on!

Personally, I was *so* glad they used her instead of some 17-year-old, 95lb, "super model" actress. Humanity was all but destroyed - what are the odds that a "perfect 10" would be saved fromthe Matrix and join up as a hovership crew member? It was a little bit of reality mixed in with a bunch of fantasy. Good casting, IMO.

Reloaded, hands down. And it would have been so much better had they not put in that retarded rave scene.
