I am currently a veteran in the IT industry (if there is such a thing, 6+ years), and I have decided to obtain my Bachelor's degree.

My long term goal is to get an MBA...

Does it matter what I major in at this point in my career?

And if so, how closely related to my field of expertise (Network Administration) should my major be?
 
i would say major in something you enjoy and is practical. For instance if you like art histroy i dont think its a very practical major but if you like chemistry then majoring in that will afford you opportunitiers when you leave college.

if your goal is for an MBA it doesnt matter what your major is.
