Which Lord Of The Rings Character Are You Most Curious About As Per Their Adaption To Screen?

For me, I would have to say Tom Bombadil. Even though I last read The Fellowship Of The Ring years ago, and am re-reading it now, that is the one character that I always had a particular mental image of. I am sure I will be disappointed when I hear how they set up the tune for the songs he sings, as it will no doubt clash with my own ideas for the music.

I'm curious about gollum. If they don't do him right it will suck.

Tom is probably the most enigmatic character in all of Tolkeins works, I don't even think he knew exactly what he was.

In terms of characters meeting my mental images, i think none will come vaguely close- such is the power of ones imagination. I'm just glad that my images come from the reading of the boosk first, rather than from seeing the big screen version 1st.
