Which logo do you think looks better?

Going with No. 2, but now I need help with colors.

Colors

Ignore the coloring to number 3. It looks grainy for some reason, but I'll change it to the correct hex color later.

#2 looks a bit more professional, a little more corporate, which I prefer, while #1 is more artsy looking.

so it depends on what it represents.

btw, you can design these logos but don't know how to do a poll?? 😉

My brother is the design major. I also prefer the first, but he states that the second looks more professional
and it's supposed to be an illusion. I didn't get it at first since I thought it was just a 'K' and an 'I'.
But he states that part of the K and the I is actually a cube!!!!

Yea - I will definately have him change the colors around. I wanted orange as one of the color themes, but I
am not sure what other color goes with it.

I didn't notice that either...but second glance its obvious. It could be tweaked a little to bring the second part of the k out better and it would be very cool.

yea - my only issue is that the left side of the K doesn't really do anything once you start to notice the cube from the 'I' and part of the 'K.' I wanted a look where you could intepret the picture to represent two things.
Sort of like the expos' and brewers' logos.

# 1 does look cool and all, but for some reason it doesn't look professional. More of like a kiddie thing

Let me qualify this by stating that I spend 50 hrs a week designing brochures and the like.

the second logo is astronomically better than the first. The first places far to much emphasis on the cube, and looks fairly amateurish. The second looks very integrated and tight. Excellent logo.

I agree, it looks more professionally developed than compared to the first.

I like the orange but change the other color.

I concur ... I didn't want to go against my brother, after all he knows most of the tricks since he is studying graphic design in college. He stated that it looked more professional and it looks much better and brings more to the eyes.

isaacmacdonald - can anything be done to the side of the 'K.' It looks "lost" once your eyes are set on the right side
where the cube forms.

I would also appreciate tips on color schemes. I thought orange, but maybe blue or something
