Which linux is best for a 486 with 32MB of ram?

Title says it all. Please help me out guys. I need the leanest and fastest running distro. If you have any suggestions please post. Thanks again.

try netbsd because the full install is approximately 70mb and it's less if you don't install everything. i've found with recent linux distributions it's a pain in the ass to try and unselect everything that you don't want, but it still ends up being pretty bloated.

Debian is a good mimimal distro. I currently have a 70MB debian install of a 486 to act as a dialup router

I find it mostly easy. There are occasionally a few odd things that I drop into irc to get a answer for, but its all well documented.

Elfstone linux has a small version and its the most unix based linux its very secure while maintaining its size as small. But there is a catch the D/l version needs to be burned with linux burning software
