Which Linux flavor has the best eye candy?

Ubuntu is nice, Puppy is pretty good too but what are the ones with the best looking GUI?

That's subjective, but something with KDE would be in the running. Kubuntu is an easy to use choice. Elementary is a flashy but light desktop. You could try that with Bodhi.

Which Puppy do you try? I'm using Slacko 5.7 but I found that 4.20 looked the best

A Linux Distro that looks like candy would be interesting though (something neon and colourful). I imagine someone out there has customized theirs this way.

Any distro can look like the other with minimal fiddling. You're mostly just a theme and icon pack away.

Cinnamon is pretty nice. Might be the best out right now. Eye candy and open source operating systems don't usually go hand in hand though. Especially when it comes to a gui interface. Once you get into the menus they are all pretty plain.

Are you sure you're not looking for something like conky? That would dress up your desktop. It's not my thing but it might be what your looking for. Here's an example I found using Google images.

Ya its ok. I will warn ya conky is not um....easy to configure and keep in mind it is just an overlay. If you're still interested here's a thread that will help get you started.

In my opinion Mint has the best overall interface with Elementary close behind. Ubuntu Unity is solid but I'm not a fan of the layout.
