Anywhere from about 3500K to 4500K, probably.
5000-5500K will be closer to daylight, but may seem too blue, at night, even with a ~6500K monitor backlight.
Common cheap CFLs you find at the store tend to be 2700-3500K.
If you want it to look really nice (like in a housing, diffused, for area lighting, not just a rush job), I'd say to spend for a strip that is rated for >=80 CRI minimum, too (making it as good as, or better than, your typical CFLs) (
high-end example that's basically as good as LEDs can get). If you're using it just to have some ambient light in the dark, not to use like a lamp, don't worry about CRI at all.
