Which LCD to buy

hi all, i just joined the forums and i need some help.

first of all, i need a LCD monitor that could be use for Gaming (2ms-5ms) and not so bad for Photo editing (accurate color) also. and my budget is quite tight, around $200-$300. so please let me know for a recommended LCD.

i checked this LCD, any one have a comment?

thanks for the advices. but for SAMSUNG 2433BW High Glossy Black 24", how long is the actual delay? and is it good for photo editing? thanks.
 
Check the gigantic sticky LCD thread for photo editing suggestions. It will vary if it's for print or for the web...

You may need a non-TN monitor for correct color.
 
For your price point you will not get an 8-bit panel, which is by far the best for photo editing. All 'inexpensive' panels are 6-bit. Beggars can't be choosers. A panel that's good for gaming is not going to be optimal for photo editing, but you can calibrate it so it's at least sufficient for the task. Google "8-bit LCD panel" for more info.
 
You also might want to get an LCD with a matte panel, as glossy panels view colors brighter than they actually are. For the 200-300 range, it's hard to get a non-TN panel, so I guess TN panel is your solution.
