I cant decide which kind of LCD screen to get, I will use it entirely for PC gaming.
An LCD monitor thats 26" and can go up to 1900x1200 would cost me about $900
BUT
An LCD TV gets me 32" but it seems that most of them only go up to 1366x768 and the prices vary between $700-$900
I would love to have a huge screen for gaming, the ideal choice would be a 30" apple cinema display, which would be equivalent to about 200 sperm donations - after that I wont have any energy left for gaming (or anything else).
Is it worth it to sacrifice resolution for real estate? I'm thinking 1366x768 isn't too bad especially since I can always crank up the AA. I'm currently using 1360x1024 on my CRT and it looks great can't even notice a diffrence compared to 1600x1200
On the other hand I have never even seen a 32" LCD monitor, So I don't know what the image quality is like.
Any suggestions? i'm trying to stay under $900 if possible.
