This is Greek to me.
She has a desktop monitor. We are interested on which would be better when not using the desktop monitor.

Full High Definition (1080p) High Brightness LED Display with TrueLife (15.6")
HD+ WLED (17.3")

I have yet to find a laptop that is suitable for image editing. I would highly recommend buying an external monitor and doing your image editing on that. Otherwise, you'll run into what I did and edit the images on the laptop only to find that they looked awful on a much better screen.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. She has a desktop monitor. This would be for while on the road or not docked.

seems the best laptop display is the Full HD Widescreen 16.0 inch RGBLED LCD (1920x1080) W/2.0 MP on the dell studio xps 16.

otherwise they're almost all garbage.
