Japanese - Could order food in a Japanese restaurant and it would be cool to know when I visit there or move there. Cousin wants to do the same as well

Mandarin - Could order food in a Chinese restaurant and evenetually when they become the next Super Power, due to Americans electing retarded morons, it would be nice to know

Cantonese - Could watch alot of movies without reading all the subtitles.

Vietnamese - Could speak to my hair dresser in her native tongue.
 
If you really want to make some awesome money, learn Arabic or Farsi and join the military or any international law enforcement/intelligence agency.

I would learn Arabic, i know thats not one of the options but from my visits to Egypt and Oman I've seen that they REALLY appreciate it when you can speak arabic (I speak a little) since not many people learn it, most people concentrate or german, spanish or french.

As to a post above, America electing morons doesnt have anything to do with China becoming a Superpower, they are going to become one and it's not based on anything America has done or is going to do.
 
Do those software packages actually work? Did you learn spanish that way? If you did, can you read the newspaper, understand what they say on the spanish TV channels?? Just wondering how effective those softwares are 🙂

Took Spanish in high school and college. I learned more dating a girl from Panama for a few months. I've never really tried a software package before
