Which KT333 board?

Hello,

I set myself a budget for 100 bucks for the mobo. I can get the MSI KT3Ultra locally for like 99 bucks which is pretty good considering it's local.

What choices are out there. I have heard good thigns about Epox but I'd rather not spend that much money.

What else should I be looking at?

The Epox 8K5A2+ has onboard LAN, RAID, 5.1 sound, and 6 USB 2.0 ports for only ~$95 online. With shipping, that shouldn't be too much more than $100. It's well worth it for a nice board like the Epox.

I just bought an AXP 2000+ / Albatron KX400+ Pro combo for $149.

I could not be happier with this board - rock friggin solid so far.

I've found the KT3 Ultra 2 as low as $77 online, from areputable dealer. Buy it.

ended up getting that MSI board from computer deli for 99 bucks. it kinda sucks how they ahd the socket mounted though. it's a pain in the arse to get the heatsink on there.

I just bought and put together an MSI ultra2 with a xp 1900...seemless construction...cpu was no problem to put on...runs nice..))
