I am wondering which Kingston RAM will overclock better? I don't worry too much about CAS 2. I just want to go high bus speed of maybe 170-200FSB?

The RAM are:
-Value RAM 512MB PC3200.
-HyperX 512MB PC 3000.

Thanks.
Any review would be appreciated.

Hyper-X PC3000, most users are hitting over 200MHZ FSB with low latencies which matter more than just MHZ.:) Btw if you can get the Value RAM with Winbond BH-5 chips, go for it, good stuff(but its luck of the draw:).

Hyper-X all the way, it's designed with us enthusiasts in mind :D

The Value mem is solid for running at its specs, but not much more than that. Usually they can run at more aggressive timings than spec'd for, so if you run at just 200MHz, you could get away with the Value mem.

Does anyone knows if there's a reviews for the ValueRAM PC3200?
Also, isn't there some compatibility problem with some motherboards when using the HyperX RAMs?
Thanks.

only a compatiblility issue with the hyperX 3500 not the 3000

the 3000 and 3200 are fine with the 2.0 and c1 boards

And does your RAM pass the Memtest at this speed?

I think how high you can clock also has to do a lot with the motherboard too b/c mine tops out at 161FSB.
