BoA

Tuition reimburstment, and possibly a career with a decent company, at the least would be better on a resume.

T-mobile rep is ok, but a dead end.

BoA would look 10x better on any resume in the future. It's a job with more accountability, especially if you plan on going into maybe an accounting or financial field. If you know you plan on going into sales or retail management, then take the TMobile job.

Not really, the teller job doesn't count as anything besides as a retail job, unless the person ends up wanting to work in a retail bank, in which case the teller experience would then matter.

It sure helped for 3 of my friends. (2 work at Morgan Stanley, one for the accounting department of American Airlines) They're all in the financial/accounting field. You might be right if you plan on doing Network Administration, but it shows that you're customer service oriented and have at least bare "basic" experience with numbers.

Smart people move up very quickly at a bank.

Smart people realize the job completely sucks at Tmobile.

If you ask any investment banker if retail banking will help someone get into finance, they'll laugh in your face.

Does the experience as a retail banker mean you can get any investment banker job? No. Will it help get you a step towards the right direction? Yes.

<-- has an uncle who is a high level investment banker with Franklin Templeton in California, started off in retail banking during college which got his foot in the door.
