Planning to make a purchase in next 2 days and have couple of questions -

1. Which 400 series ITX board is most likely to ship with a working BIOS for Ryzen 2? Asus had their BIOS ready for 6+ weeks but can't find a confirmation that the new board came with the latest BIOS. MSI probably the slowest...

2. Any possibility of a specific manufacturer posting with the older BIOS to let me flash the latest one? Or they are all equal in this regard? No ITX board seems to have the USB flashback capability

Trying to avoid unknown delay for the loaner CPU from AMD for which they require the processor and the mobo in hand (possibly a week away) for the picture with serial #. If none come with a workable BIOS I guess the cheapest one will do...

What is the budget? Gigabyte X570 I board looks mighty good to me. 8-layer PCB, 8-phase VRM, cooling solution for both the chipset and M.2 boards, etc.

Thanks for the reply. Budget is not really a concern but I don't have much use for x570 benefits like PCIe 4.0. USB 3.2 could be useful though I am not sure if I'll see anything positive in daily use. Also, I can only see one x570 ITX board releasing tomorrow.

I got 2x8GB Ballistix 3200MHz/CAS 16 sticks in hand. Will reuse the 1050 TI and the case/power supply I already have. Just need the 3600 and an ITX mobo. Llittle gaming but do a lot of video / photo editing.

x570 also consumes more power (possibly due to PCIe 4.0) that I could live without. A standard B450 will do everything for me but it's the extra step to update BIOS unless they started shipping with it.

You seem to know what you want. And yah, X570 runs hot and power-hungry. Hope you find a suitable B450 board.
