we had our company bbq party after work on friday. i was kinda bored so i rallied the troops for a basketball game against management.
well, long story short, i was about to shoot the ball, but then i thought to myself, i should really pass, cause i dont want to look like a ball hog. so i passed it to one of my friends who just happend to be cutting down the lane. well, he caught the ball, then fell over in pain. apparently he broke his fibula right below the knee and has a 90% chance of a torn tendon. im thinking a torn tendon is better then a torn ligament, right?
anyhow, things kinda get complicated cause he was actually working night shift and was still on the clock. so he really shouldnt have been playing basketball, but we were playing with the company presidents, so they were aware and didnt say anything. im wondering if he can get compensation?
