I want to buy the best silent and also qualified psu.

Seasonic X-750
Silverstone Strider Gold 750W

What are your opinions?

I wish that to be on this list Corsair AX750, Enermax Modu87+, TT Toughpower Grand and also OCZ Z series. but they are very expensive then silverstone and seasonic.so as i mentioned before the only important thing is quietness.

Thank you.

Quiet? X-750 or AX750 (both are basically same). Also you should be researching on silentpcreview.com for stuff like this.

I have the Seasonic X650 and the fan rarely comes on, so it is essentially silent and when it does happen to come on you can't hear the thing anyway.

I actually took the side off the computer to watch and see if I could get it to spin up, but never generated enough heat to see the fan actually spin.

The Seasonic X-series do not even turn-on the fan until about ~20% load. After that, the fan slowly starts to spin up, to about 100% speed at full PSU load. So at idle and non CPU/GPU intensive workload, your PSU should be silent with X-series.

I am a silence freak my whole system is built for just that purpose. When I went with my new Sandy Bridge build I did alot of research and in the end I went with the Seasonic X series gold 750. And it has meet all my needs. Its Dead quiet and the voltages are rock solid. Not one problem. The only thing is the price it is one of the more expensive ones. I got mine for about $170 but it was well worth it...

I have a Seasonic X-650, and realistically I can't hear the fan over hard drive noise. Take that as you will.

i say just water cool everything if you just can't handle any kind of sound in the pc except for the annoying mobo beeps (bypass w/specifically selected mobo)

water-block the psu, cpu, gpu, ram, ssd drives and any mobo bridges.

That is definitely incorrect. Some psus have very loud fans at idle. You must pick a psu with a known quiet fan and a slow fan ramp.

Not really "definitely incorrect", there's an imperfect correlation. For a given quality of PSU, one operating at a lower load will probably be quieter.

Quality is not related to quietness. The only thing that controls quietness is the fan ramp, fan noise characteristics, and the ambient temperature. (and possibly coil noise).
There are a number of high quality psus that have "loud" idle.
Now people have different standards of noise, but I go by spcr standards, which are probably the most stringent 🙂

I've never noticed any sound comming from my Season X750. I couldn't say if Silverstone would be more/less quiet, but I'd go with the Seasonic any day, simply because Seasonic makes some of the best PSU's around in terms of quality.
