Which is the better video card?

I am trying ot make a budget gaming PC and I have a choice between a used 6800 AGP that works perfectly unlocked with 16 pixel pipes and 6 vertex pipes unlocked for about $75 CDN. Or a new 7600GT for about $200 CDN. Which is the better bang for the buck to run current games.

I realize one is PCIE and the other is AGP but this doesnt matter because I dont ever plan on upgrading, the current config will not be changed for several years.
 
Motherboard has not been decided yet, bu obviously it will be determined by which video card I get.

Again im concerned with getting the best price for the performance.
