Which is the better PSU?

get a enermax liberty, both are very good choices... the FSP will be quieter and slightly more stable i believe

enermax is very solid however... i have the noisetaker 420w and its been a rock for me

The enermax is probably the better value out of those two, but you could run that setup with a 400w psu. An enermax liberty would be great for you, but after the instant savings...that enermax you found is the better deal. It's not like you will be upgrading to sli with that board, so why spend more on a psu than you have to? Maybe a 400w fortron will be less. Other than that, go with the enermax you found.

Thanks much for the replies

What if I put a dual core cpu instead of a singlke core.. how much would this affect my power needs?

edit btw, I am going to go with an enermax due to all your votes of confidence for it as well as for the extra goodies it has 😉

Of those two the FSP is definitely the better option, that Enermax is very dated design.

Seasonic and Enhance would be my choice, Seasonic being slightly better PSU but the Enhance being a better value.

Enermax. I really like the two noisetakers (370 and 485) I'm using - except the 90mm fans they stick in it. Had to replace one because it started to make an annoying noise after about 6 months. No big deal (besides void warranty, but I dont RMA if I can fix it easily) but they could have really spent an extra buck or two on a better fan for such an excellent PSU. Wont stop me from going the enermax route again - probabaly the liberty lane though.
