Which is the better Power Supply?

As the title says, which one of these is the better power supply?
The PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 or CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX?
Both are the same price after rebates on NewEgg, but the Corsair model has a 5 year warranty while the PC P&C has a 3 year warranty.

Here are the intended parts for the rest of the rig -
(feel free to comment, can't have too much advice)

ASUS P5K Deluxe WIFI-AP
E6600 with modest overclocking ~3.2 or so. upgrading to a quad core eventually.
eVGA 8800GTS 640MB Superclocked model
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 800 4-4-3-5
a couple of hard drives
a couple of DVD burners
Maybe a X-Fi sound card at some point

Technically, the PCP&C.

But i highly doubt that "Silencer" is anywhere close to silent, knowing it's PCP&C & has an 80mm fan.

Being that the Corsair is a SeaSonic built PSU, they are both equal as far as quality, PCP&C wins out "technically" based on reputation.
But Corsair would win on features being that its a "modular" PSU as well as having more connectors.
Out of the 2, I would chose the Corsair.

The reason i stated PCP&C is technically better is amperage, not because of their name (which is largely built on marketing IMO).

Corsair's +12v rails do appear to act as a single +12V rail in jonnyguru's testing, but even still, max amperage is ~ 40A

Silencer has a single rail @ 49A.

From what I understand the 620W has max of 50A, the 520W has a max of 40A.
I may be wrong...

Either one is overkill for that system. You'll never draw more than 400W.

I'd go for an Enermax Liberty 500w or the Corsair 520w.

I'd go with the 620 watt Corsair because of the longer warranty & modular cables.

I'd also stick with the 600 watt range psu even though it is considerably more then you need to power your system because my choice would be never to run anywhere near capacity & also it will cover you if you decide to grab a second GTS for SLI.

Edit: If however you want to save money & don't mind the potential need to upgrade again down the road, you'll have a very hard time beating this deal:

Enhance ENP-5150GH 500W ATX12V @ $69 + Free shipping (This weekend only)

The Enhance linked above is very close to as good & close to half the price, also it has 80+ efficency ... the Corsair 520 watt is very high quality but nowhere near twice as good.

Thanks for the info on the Enhance, but for now I think I'll stick with the Corsair 520. the rig I'm building isn't actually for me, it's for a friend in another state. I'd feel more comfortable purchasing a "name brand", higher quality unit for him. I'd hate for my friend to have trouble with the PC when I'm 1000 miles away. Looks like a good find though. thanks again.

Thats actually my only real concern about the Enhance because I've never dealt with their tech-support & in particular with an OEM/bulk PSU.

Corsair support is pretty good for memory but can be slow to ship replacement products in my experience & if easy tech-support is your main concern then PC Power & Cooling gets the edge. I've only had to use them twice out of maybe 40 purchases, but both times I got an RMA number within minutes of my request & received my replacement PSU in less the a week.
