Which is the better ninja

I was worried about that. Would I have to make any changes to the mounting system on the 680i with the protruding capacitors?

I mounted my Rev. B on an EVGA 680i motherboard (using the included LGA 775 mounting hardware... the push pin things ><), and it worked, although it took me a little bit to figure out that I had to turn all the pins clockwise to lock them in place (for some reason neither the Intel nor the Ninja manual explained this).

why would intel give you info about the Ninja...hmmmm

Glad you figured it out though!! 😀

I've used both, it's 6 of one, half dozen of the other if you ask me.
I might slightly prefer the Rev. B honestly, a lot easier to remove.

Well, it uses the same exact mounting mechanism as the stock intel HSF, so I figured (after the fact, I didn't check while I was installing initially) that the intel installation instructions would say something about twisting the push pins. Nope, both just say push 'em down... but if they're not rotated clockwise they'll slip right back up, and that could make for a nasty accident.
