Which is the better gaming system?

I can most likely get either one at the same price...which is better for gaming?

1x SuperMicro motherboard P4DC6
2x Intel Xeon Pentium 4 Processors (2.4GHz min)
4x RAMBUS 256MB [1GB total on the motherboard]

or

1x MSI K8N Neo Platinum (nForce3 250Gb)
1x AMD Athlon 64 2800+
1 gig Crucial ddr3200

I would probably stick in an ASUS GeForce4 Ti4200 (I own), or purchase a Radeon 9800pro. Please make any changes that would improve either system. Thanks.

Thanks.

The AMD rig is better for gaming. I relize the Intel is a dualy but ussually that doesn't help out THAT much. If you are gaming alot the 9800 Pro is recommended... rather than the old TI4200

I would guess it is a used system if it has RD ram.

Well, I got the first rig:

1x SuperMicro motherboard P4DC6
2x Intel Xeon Pentium 4 Processors (1.7GHz min)
4x RAMBUS 256MB [1GB total on the motherboard]
1x Turbo Cool 450 ATX
1x AGP graphics card ASUS V8420D
1x Panasonic DVD-RAM SCSI drive (model LF-D201)

for $290 each system from a testing facility (bought a couple...needs case and HDD to be complete)

and I can either sell one and upgrade one from the profits, or I can sell them both and start from scratch. Thanks.

I'd go with the AMD for a gaming rig. As a bonus you *just might* have an affordable upgrade path available for it at some point.

Yes, it is.

...or I can sell them both and upgrade my current rig.

ASUS P4T533-C
1 gig RDRAM
2.4B OC'd to 2.66
Radeon 9800pro

or just sell 'em and keep the money!
