Which is the better 3D performer? TNT 2 or Radeon 7000 VE?

The Radeon 7000 would be better in all cases I think. It's based on the original Radeon core which was the ATI equivalent of the GF256 and the GF was ultimately superior to the TnT2. The Radeon would also have much better image quality.

a tnt2 Ultra MIGHT match it, but certainly not beat it

7000VE will be faster.. Honestly though, never used either card for quite some period of time but here's some numbers for you from Tomshardware. VGA Charts for older video cards

The Radeon VE is surely faster, after all, it is faster than a GF256 or an MX200.
A pity it has no T&L, but the TNT hasn't got it either.
