I was looking at the HP Jornada, and the Palm M505. Does anyone know of any comparison between all the different Hand Helds. I want something that has a good functionality, color preferably. What would you suggest? Any feedback would be good. Thanx

Comparing the Jornada and Palm is like comparing apples to oranges. Both are fruits but taste totally different from each other. The Jornada is a Pocket PC which means it functions more like a Win9x systems. The Palm is basically an organizer.
IMO, a pocket PC does all a palm can do and then some (MP3, video streaming et all). Go with a pocket PC but not with a Jornada as they are very slow when compared with others. Or, you can wait a bit as Palm will start using the ARM chip (identical to the one Ipaq uses) in their Palm devices.

Palm devices are a bit more than "just an organizer" (go look at the software collections on Handango and PalmGear). However, if color, MP3', bells and whistles, flashing lights, and goofy system sounds (which you can disable) are your thing then go with Pocket PC. :)

Seriously though, the Palm is a bit more efficient and faster IMO. I think MS tried to cram too much stuff into the Pocket PC's so they ended up being expensive toys basically. In a lot of csaes you'd be better served with a real laptop. The best thing to do is go check them and (and be sure to test out the handwriting recognition -- even if you plan on getting a keyboard).
