Which is smarter ?

I have an AMD TB 1,2 GHz running with a Taisol CGK742092, using the thermal pad it came with.
I need more cooling, as it runs around 56C under load, and 50C Idle.
My MB temp is only 30C Idle and 32C under CPU load.
So i guess it's the circulation inside my case that's the primary problem ???

Anyway, I'm considering buying a Delta 60x60x25 mm fan (black label), to replace the stock 60x60x10 i have now.
Or would it be smarter if I bought a Taisol CGK760092 (a bigger/better model), and some ASII and then the Delta 60x60x25 mm fan for that one ?

How much lower temp would I get from second option ?

Thanks in advance

LOL...you already answered your question...maybe you'll get a max of 5-10 degrees out of that one... remember you're only as good as how well you have your fans inside the case setup... you might be getting rid of the heat from your cpu but its not going anywhere after that... someone correct me if i'm wrong. what's your room temp by the way?

I'd suggest keeping your HSF, getting a 25-30CFM 60mm fan (NOT Delta, you'll hate its high pitched whine). Improve your case ventilation; I dont think I have to tell you how to do that, just think about it.

Dont forget that the in-socket thermistor for the CPU is woefully inaccurate :) Don't trust it.

well definitely apply the ASII...
and make sure that you have intake fan also (not just cpu fan).

my temp dropped about 3 degrees with my front intake fan.
