Which is the best out of this three monitor I selected. (1) HITACHI Superscan 771 19"(18.0" V.I.S.) Ergo Flat CRT Monitor. or (2) SAMSUNG SyncMaster 900NF 19"(18" VIS) Aperture Grill CRT - .25mm dpi 2048x1536/69Hz max res. or (3) NEC-MITSUBISHI 19" (18" V.I.S.) Flat-screen FE 950+ CRT, .25 mm dpi,1792 X1344 at 68Hz max res.
Thanks everyone.

I'm all for Samsung 950d or 955df, can prolly get both for under 200 dollars if dell.com does 20% again.

price/performance wise it has to be Samsung!

Quite a few monitor reviews reinforce this opinion.

I agree too... price/performance wise, it's tough to beat Samsung.

However, if price wasn't a concern, I would go with the Hitachi CM771. It has all the advantages of a shadow mask (since it is one) yet it's still perfectly flat.

I have an FE950 (not plus) and I must say I really like it. I've also heard raelly good things about the samsung (my friend has one and he raves about it all the time). I'd say either one is good choice.

If you're looking for a shadow mask, the Hitachi 771 would be an excellent choice. If you're looking for an aperture grill, I think the 900nf is better.

Can't go wrong with any of those choices.
I've got the 900NF and like it, had NEC before and liked it as well.
Haven't seen the Hitachi I don't think, but some positive opinions on that one as well.

Just get the cheapest one.
