Which is faster

I have also found them to be the same. I never was able to get Klinux working, so I've used the DOS client a lot in the past. The DOS client is handy if you don't have a hard drive and network card (you can run right from a floppy and sneakernet). If you have the computer networked, you should definately use the Windows client.
