Which is faster? A 2002 Mitsu eclipse GT or a 1998 Camaro with a V6.

My Girlfriend has the Camaro and I will probably be picking up a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT at the end of the month that im pretty excited about. Id like to know which one will be faster. Her car is an automatic and mine will be that one auto/clutchless manual thing called tiptronic transmission. Yeah I checked out the specs on her car and we both have 200 hp engines and I think they both have about the same weight.

yep, cant drive stick so im not even worried about it. Its not like im gonna be ricing this thing out or trying to race anyone. The only thing I might do is improve the handling of it and call it a day.

What the difference between curb weight and gross weight?

Curb weight = Vehicle empty.

Gross weight = Vehicle loaded to it's maximum safe limits as described by it's manufacturer.
