upping the fsb has advanages, true. but you need to think that wiht a faster fsb the pci and agp will go up and out of spec! this might
be a problem. you need to experiment with your gear.
If your processor has a default FSB of 100MHz, divide the FSB by 3 to get the PCI speed, multiply by 2/3 for AGP. If you are at 133 default, multiply by 1/4 for PCI, and by 1/2 for AGP
So if I have and XP 1800+ (default 133 right) and I have the FSB at 138 then the
PCI would be at: 138 * .25 = 34.5 and the
AGP would be at: 138 *.5 = 69
I'm sorry, I messed up...AGP is at 1/2 for 133. For some odd reason, I was thinking of 166 FSB for that. So your PCI calc is correct, and your AGP would be at 69MHz
