Just wondering which of the following two things you thought were better to use. I currently use Internet explorer and have not had any problems with it at all. But I have been hearing a lot about Firefox and OPERA????? So which would you recommend to use, and why also.

Will all pages load then even without the compatibility with ActiveX?

There are somethings that I have to use IE for but for 99% of my activities I use Firefox. The tabbed browsing can't be beat. I actually have FF, Mozilla, and IE on all my machines.

Firefox is nice. I hear good things about opera, but the free version is ad-supported, while Firefox, which is free, has an extension which will actually block ads... also has a lot of other nice extensions.

I use FF at home and school. I like it because of the tabs, better ad blocking, and the fact it doesnt have to mess with XP's registry. Hence, you can move the program folder to wherever and the program will still work.

Once your been introduced to tabbed browsing you will wonder how you ever lived without it. Just like the scroll wheel on a mouse. :)

Exactly! Tabbed browsing is the best. FF all the way!

I like FF but it's pretty quirky. If you are only going to use one browser ever I think you pretty much have to use IE or the new netscape (which cheats and uses IE anyway if you want), just for compatibility reasons. Otherwise FF is a good choice.

You don't have any problems with IE? Yea right. Maybe you just don't realize the problems it creates.

How often do you run ad-aware and spy-bot, and how many various spyware/adware/malware do they find? I run mine probably once a week, but I don't know why because I never find anything.

You know why? Because I don't use IE.
