i have 2 motherboards with nearly the same specs

which should i install?

gigabyte 8id533 v1.1

using the same hardware for either one

win xp home
100 gb western digital 7200rpm
1.8 gig intel pccr
512 pc133 sdram for gigabyte ---- 512 ddr266 pc2100 for intel
nvidia ti4600
creative audigy plat ex

Thats what I would do. The Intel board will probably perform better to since its DDR, so you get twice as much bandwidth. I would pick the Intel, for stability number one and number two, you get more bandwidth.
 
Bteween the two, Intel. Though at 266, it won't be as good as it could be (not sure if the Intel mobos allows DDR 333 and 400), but using PC133 with a P4 would be a complete waste.
